Which function needs to be occupied?
As IT Infrastructure & Security Specialist, you will be responsible for the management and security of our IT infrastructure. You will work with your colleagues in the IT team and ensure that our systems are reliable, secure and future-proof. You will also support the roll-out of NIS2 actions and act as back-up for our first-line support officer.
In addition, we expect you to be able to translate IT solutions from the needs of the business. Think about guiding a SharePoint roll-out or thinking along about process improvement and digitalisation. You do not need to be a business analyst, but someone who listens, understands and can translate this into concrete IT actions and solutions.
Your tasks and responsibilities
- Managing servers, networks, firewalls, storage and backup systems.
- Managing user accounts, rights structures, and IT documentation.
- Participating in the preparation and follow-up of the NIS2 audit and related actions.
- Evaluating and improving IT processes and policies.
- Supporting IT projects (e.g. SharePoint deployment, cloud migration, M365 optimisation).
- Acting as a sounding board for the business: listening to the existing needs, analysing them and translating them into IT solutions.
- Backup for the first-line support officer.
What are the expectations for employment?
- You have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a technical IT role (systems, networking, security)
- You have experience with:
- Windows Server and Active Directory
- Networks (LAN, VLAN, VPN, firewalls)
- Microsoft 365 (management, security, licensing)
- On-site virtual environments (e.g. VMware)
- You are familiar with IT security and have an affinity with compliance (such as NIS2, ISO, GDPR...).
- You feel comfortable consulting with colleagues from other departments, understand their processes, and can translate these into practical IT solutions.
- You work in a structured way, independently and with an eye for quality.
- You are customer-oriented and willing to also provide hands-on support when needed.
